Graduation Ceremony for the New Members of Shincheonji Church of Jesus
- Graduation ceremony for those who have passed the six-month course on the theology of the Holy Spirit –
Main reference: Rv 7, 14
Each of the twelve tribes of Shincheonji Church of Jesus (abbreviated as Shincheonji) holds a graduation ceremony every six months by harvesting and sealing its new members. Every new congregation member who comes to Shincheonji from other Protestant denominations or general society needs to study the Bible for six months at mission centers and complete the beginning-level, intermediate-level, and advanced-level courses. They can only graduate after they pass the completion exam comprised of 300 questions, which checks whether they are properly sealed.
After course completion, new members receive a special one-month training designed for newcomers in which they are introduced to the church. It is only after this training that they are officially registered with the church; however, one is not registered as a congregation member simply by coming to Shincheonji. Shincheonji is the only place in the world where the teachings from the Holy Spirit– the secret of the kingdom of heaven – are taught. If professors in theology and general pastors are tested with this completion exam, they probably would not be able to correctly answer even a tenth of all the questions.
There are two kinds of education: one that belongs to the heaven and one that belongs to the earth. (refer to Jn 3:31-34). Even if one has worldly knowledge, they may not know about heavenly things. Knowledge promised by heaven can only be learned when God allows it to be known. In particular, since Revelation is the last work of God, it is also the greatest secret of the kingdom of heaven that we are able to understand when God’s promise is fulfilled.
General believers often have an incorrect, human understanding about God’s salvation. They misunderstand that they can receive it if they simply say, “Lord, Lord,” or if they attend church diligently or if they serve their church with loyalty; however, that is not the case. Only those who are born of the seed of God sown by Jesus, freed from sin by the blood of Jesus, and then harvested, sealed and registered in the book of life of the twelve tribes – the promised kingdom – are qualified to receive salvation and become heavenly people. Such is the new covenant.
The difference between general believers and the congregation members of Shincheonji is as vast as that between heaven and earth; this difference also applies to their knowledge of the Bible. As prophesied in the Bible, there are two kinds of people: those who persecute and those who are persecuted. In the 6,000 years of the history of the Bible, those who persecute have always been false pastors of Satan; on the other hand, those who are persecuted have been people of God. It is still the same today. We can see this by observing reality.
As written in the Bible, there are those who are born of the seed of God and there are also those who are born of the seed of the devil (Mt 13). Pastors of Satan resort to persecution because their own falsehood is exposed by those who belong to God.
The congregation members of Shincheonji, who are harvested and sealed according to the promise in the New Testament, have mastered the revelation of heaven and understand all the events of Revelation’s fulfillment. This level of understanding cannot be paralleled or even imagined by members and pastors of ordinary churches. The congregation members of Shincheonji have all learned about the revelation of heaven according to 5W1H and they all testify to what they have learned.
What God promised in the New Testament (New Covenant) is Revelation. The purpose of fulfilling Revelation is to create the twelve tribes, who are a new kingdom and new people of God. Jesus fulfilled the prophecy in the Old Testament by sowing two kinds of seeds at the time of his First Coming. He then promised (prophesied) that he would come back again in order to harvest the fruits of the seeds that he had sown. Today, at the time of his second coming, Jesus has come back to harvest, seal and create the twelve tribes in accordance with the prophecies that he made. The congregation members of Shincheonji keep the new covenant by seeing and believing in the fulfillment of Revelation.
One can only keep the new covenant by knowing about and believing in what has been promised. The CCK has neither kept nor believed in this new covenant; on the other hand, Shincheonji has believed in it through being harvested and sealed. Who, then, will go to Heaven?
